International Credit Mobility (ICM) supports the mobility of individuals enrolled or employed at a higher education institution (HEI), from a Programme Country to a Partner Country or vice versa.

There are 4 types of mobility:

Student mobility for studies (SMS), open to short cycle, first cycle (Bachelor) or second

cycle (Master) students, as well as third cycle doctoral candidates..

Student mobility for traineeships (SMP), open to short cycle, first cycle (Bachelor) or

second cycle (Master) students, recent graduates (who have applied during their

last year of studies), as well as third cycle doctoral candidates. 

Staff mobility for teaching (STA)  for academic staff to teach at a partner higher education institution (HEI) abroad.

Staff mobility for training (STT)  for teaching and non-teaching staff in the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences), job shadowing, observation periods and/or training at a partner HEI. 

Duration of the mobility

Students The physical mobility period can last from 2 months (or one academic term) to 12 months (for Bachelor and Master students)

The physical mobility period can last from 5 to 30 days for PhD students (Short-term mobility)

Bachelor and Master students can carry out a short-term mobility if it is part of a blended mobilty

 days for short-term doctoral mobility or if part of a blended mobility

Staff The mobility period can last from 5 days to 2 months (60 days) and can also be carried out as blended mobility

 

The start and end dates of all mobility activities must fall within the start and end dates of the project (from August 1st 2022 to July 31st 2025)
